Free World Wide Shipping!

Your rug will ship from Rabat, Morocco. Please allow 8-14 days for delivery depending on your location.

Will my rug shed?
Your rug will not shed on its own, however it is common for your vacuum to pull a handful of loose fibers during the first 2-3 vacuums.

How should I clean my rug?
Spot Cleaning:
Stains can be blotted out of the wool by adding warm water directly to the stain and blotting all liquid out of the wool with a towel.
Professional Cleaning: Your rug will last upward of 30 years, so there may come a time when it needs a full cleaning! Find a professional who is experienced with cleaning 100% wool rugs. Your rug will come out looking brand new!

RESPONSIBLE SUPPLY CHAIN

We purchase from responsible and ethical suppliers at every step of our supply chain. Our wool is sourced from cruelty-free rural shepherds, then hand-dyed using low-impact dyes before being woven into your beautiful, one-of-a-kind rug. We believe in supporting small businesses, the heart of the world economy. No huge suppliers or harsh chemicals here, it’s just that simple.

PRESERVING TRADITIONS

Women are the bearers of the Moroccan weaving tradition and each woman, family, and region upholds distinct styles and techniques, honed over hundreds of years. Though the recent design trend in vintage Moroccan rugs shines a very well deserved light on their unique beauty, vintage on its own does little to support artisans who are alive and weaving today. Buying contemporary creates financial incentive for the weavers to preserve their craft and pass cultural knowledge on to their children, thus protecting the weaving tradition for generations to come.

ETHICAL WORK ENVIRONMENT

In our workshop, we put the needs and comfort of our artisans at the forefront, ensuring their working space is clean and safe— even fun! We supply them with high-quality materials and tools so that they are able to practice their craft to the absolute best of their abilities. We cultivate an environment centered on professional development and self care, setting aside time each week for both.
